Vitalik Buterin Revealed Information About the Size of His Net Worth

Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin said that the size of his cryptocurrency status never reached $1 billion.

The well-known critic of Bitcoin, ICO and the crypto industry in general, Nouriel Roubini, accused Vitalik and the head of ConsenSys startup Joseph Lubin of stealing 75% of ETH’s offer during the “pre-mining sale/scam”, which supposedly instantly made them billionaires.

The creator of Ethereum, in response, said that he never possessed more than 0.9% of the volume of supply of the second cryptocurrency by capitalization, and the number of his assets never approached the $1 billion mark.

Commenting on the tweet, Vitalik published a link to his wallet, passing through which one can see that he has 365 thousand coins (about $72.7 million at the current rate).

One of the Twitter users advised Buterin not to waste time on the “outdated useless economist” Roubini, who is most likely a non-holder.

Buterin also noted that the Ethereum Foundation owned a maximum of 3 million ETH. Currently, the organization has about 660 thousand coins, the rest is spent on development.

Nouriel Roubini earlier said that decentralization is a “myth” and Vitalik Buterin is a “lifelong dictator”.
