The Neteller report says that at this stage, Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) operations are available to users. In the future, they plan to add other digital assets.
At the initial stage, the option of buying and selling cryptocurrency is available to residents of 10 countries, but in the coming months, the company plans to expand the geography of the service to other markets, as well as integrate it into a mobile application.
“Exchange from 28 fiat currencies to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin or Ether and back to your wallet currency instantly and securely – no additional verification is needed.” – Neteller website.
The minimum transaction threshold is set at 10 euros or equivalent of another currency, the maximum amount depends on the transaction limits associated with a particular account.
The system charges a fee of 1.5%, for transactions in US dollars and euros, and for transactions in other currencies – 3%.
The company revised its views on cryptocurrency, as it had previously had a rather negative attitude towards transactions with bitcoins or any other cryptocurrencies. They have integrated the ability to replenish the account using Bitcoin in May, this year.
Neteller payment processor has been operating since 1999. Neteller was created in Canada and moved to the Isle of Man in 2004. The company operates in more than 180 countries over the world.
Neteller is part of the UK-based Paysafe Group along with the Skrill payment system that added the possibility of buying and selling cryptocurrency in July of this year.
Skrill wallet offers the same set of cryptocurrencies and to buy or sell a cryptocurrency user needs to go to the Exchange section.
The fact that Neteller management board changed its mind about cryptocurrencies is a very big step for the market. Now, this set of digital assets is more available for more beneficiaries of online money transfer systems. Like we said before, Neteller plans to list more cryptocurrencies in near future.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO Skrill, NETELLER and Income Access shared a thought that many people do not know where to start with crypto trading and these already proved systems will make this available:
“The world of cryptocurrency trading is exciting and dynamic, and our digital wallet service very much lends itself to this environment. I’m confident that the ability to trade in cryptocurrencies quickly and easily through Skrill will appeal to consumers both now and in the future. We know many people want to experiment with cryptocurrency trading but don’t know where to start and we’ve made the entire process very straightforward.”
